Location
South Island: Mt Rochefort, Denniston Plateau, 11 km ESE of Westport.
Habitat
Dwarf bushy Nothofagus (beech) scrub with numerous shrubs in gully with easterly aspect. On dead Nothofagus branch. Very common, forming large colonies with hepatics and Dicnemon dixonianum Allen.
