形态描述：Perennial herb; stems terete, twining, green or brown. Basal leaves in 2 pairs, nearly prostrate, sessile, papyraceous, ovate, obovate, or rounded, 1.2-5 X 1-3 cm, apex acute, base cuneate or broadly cuneate, margin entire, dark green on adaxial surface, sometimes with yellowish green spots, pale green on abaxial surface; cauline leaves linear, membranaceous, 5-10 X 0.3-0.9 cm, base cuneate, margin entire, apex acuminate to caudate; veins 3; petiole 0.2-0.3 mm. 形态描述：Perennial herb, stems spirally twisted, twining, slender, terete, up to 2 m long, commonly with few secondary branches. Leaves opposite, leaf blade lanceolate to narrowly lanceolate, 4-7 × 1-2 cm, base rounded, margin entire or crenulate and slightly revolute, apex acuminate, sometimes caudate; veins 3. Inflorescences axillary, as 1-flowered or fewflowered cymes; bracts 1-3 pairs, leaf-like, to 1 cm. Pedicel 0.3-0.7 cm. Flowers 5-merous. Calyx campanulate; tube 7-10 mm, angled or inconspicuously keeled; lobes linear 8-12 mm, apex acuminate. Corolla campanulate, 2.5-3.1 cm, white or yellowish with green-yellow stripes with purple dots inside the throat also visible on the outside and in immature flowers; lobes triangular, 2-5 mm, apex acuminate to cuspidate; plicae horizontally truncate, 1.5-3 mm, margin denticulate. Stamens inserted at basal part of corolla tube, unequal, apically recurved; filaments linear-subulate to linear, 1.3-1.7 cm; anthers ellipsoid, ca. 1 mm. Nectaries conspicuously developed, forming a collar-like disc surrounding the base of the ovary, ca. 1mm. Ovary 1-locular, 10-13 mm; ovules many; gynophore 4-7 mm; style 7-10 mm. Berries ellipsoid to spindleshaped, red, 1.5-2 cm, partially exserted from marcescent corolla. Seeds dark brown to black, triquetrous, wingless.

Stamens on the middle of perianth lobes; filaments basally widened, free part ca. 1 mm; anthers elliptic, introrse, ca. 1.5 mm; pollen yellow.
